Loch Faskally   Huntingtower Castle

Perthshire straddles the Highland fault line which divides the Highlands and the Lowlands. Our first 1½ days cycling will be in the Lowlands, and after that we will be in the Highlands.

Stories will include saints, ghosts and clashes of the clans.

One week tour,  Monday 1st - Sunday 7th November
This tour follows on from the Scottish International Storytelling Festival.
We will be able to enjoy Perthshire while it is clothed in the glorious colours of autumn.

Day 1 Meet in Perth
Day 2 Cycle by way of Huntingtower castle and Dunning to Aberuthven (23 miles)
Day 3 Reaching Loch Earn, we stay the night in St Fillans (23 miles)
Day 4 Along Loch Earn and, entering Stirlingshire, through Glen Ogle to Killin. (17 miles).
Day 5 We choose between three routes to take us to Aberfeldy (from 25 to 41 miles)
Day 6 On our final day of cycling, following the Rivers Tay and Tummel, we reach Pitlochry (15 miles)
Day 7 Good byes

Costs: £550 per person based on two people sharing a room, which includes 6 nights Dinner, bed and breakfast and entrance to Huningtower castle.

We will be staying in inns and guest houses.

There are railway stations in Perth and Pitlochry.
